Kimberly K. (Kim) Ryan served as president and CEO of Hillenbrand, Inc., a global industrial company with market-leading brands serving a variety of industries across the globe, from December 2021 to March 2026 in connection with the sale and delisting of the business. From 2015 to 2021, she was president of the company’s largest business, Coperion, a worldwide leader in compounding systems. She started her career with former subsidiary Batesville in 1989 and progressed through positions of increasing responsibility in finance, strategy, operations, logistics, information technology, and commercial division leadership within Hillenbrand and Hill-Rom, a medical technology provider.

Ryan was elected to The Timken Company Board of Directors in 2025. She brings valuable skills and experience in strategy, operations, logistics, and information technology from her executive leadership of a publicly traded manufacturing company.

Ryan serves as a member of the Board’s Compensation and Audit committees. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and accounting from Iowa State University and serves on the National Association of Manufacturers Board of Directors and as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council at Iowa State University’s Ivy School of Business.
