NORTH CANTON, Ohio Nov. 13 2019 — The Timken Company today announced the election of Hansal N. Patel as an officer of the company and appointed him vice president, general counsel and secretary.

Patel, who joined Timken as an attorney in 2011, leads the company’s legal organization and is responsible for legal strategy, services and compliance globally. He also serves as corporate secretary for the Timken Board of Directors.

“Hansal is an exceptional attorney and respected member of our leadership team,” said Richard G. Kyle, Timken president and chief executive officer. “He offers valuable perspective on our business and industry and brings great legal expertise to the table.”

Patel, who earned a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and bachelor’s degree in finance from The Ohio State University, resides in Cleveland. He becomes the seventh officer on Timken’s leadership team.
